Hello Patriots,
Four days to V-day! The V is first for VOTE and
then for VICTORY!
We have many nice door hangers from our friends
Americans for Prosperity promoting Dr. Larry Bucshon for our 8th district US
Congress. The Wabash Valley Tea Party got these to us Saturday. We need workers
that would want to distribute these door to door anywhere within our 8th
district in these last days to election. If you want to be active and make a
difference jump in and distribute as many of theses as you can. Contact us and
we'll get them to you.
Dr. Bucshon has signed a pledge to the Tea Party
to repeal Obamacare.
Our Rally for Saturday came together beautifully.
The projection screen was finished, sound system allocated, seating lined up for
500, signs and ads deployed and literature printed for the event. Our good
friends at Wabash Valley Tea Party were very gracious to promote this event on
the radio and their newsletter. Other area Tea Parties also promoted the event.
We served complimentary tea and coffee only this
time and offered folks relevant literature, encouraging them to sign up to help
or at least to be kept informed.
For those of
you who missed it, the anti-Cap and Trade Tea Party Rally, held in the heart of
Indiana Coal Country, was the most informative yet. Numerous politicians were
present and two great speeches were given discussing both the economic effects
of the Cap and Trade legislation and the real science behind man-made global
warming.
Held at the
retired Coalmont school gymnasium, a presentation was given by Indiana State
Treasurer Richard Mourdock (www.richardmourdock.com)
who started his professional life in the area as a coal geologist. He explained
how the Cap and Trade will further crush America’s manufacturing base by making
it impossible to compete in the global marketplace.
Republican
Candidate for the 8th U.S. Congressional District, Dr. Larry Bucshon
gave a brief talk about his plans if elected, first being to repeal Obamacare
and second to stop Cap and Trade. Dr. Bucshon is a cardiothorasic surgeon who
is running on a conservative platform for the district which includes Greene

State
Representative Bob Heaton (Bob
Heaton)
said a few words about his campaign and introduced Matt Ubelhor (www.mattubelhor.com)
also running for State Representative.
The meeting
was headlined by climate expert and author Steve Goreham, Executive Director of
the Climate Science Coalition of America. Mr. Goreham gave a very informative
presentation on the global warming hysteria and the real science of the climate
debate. His very interesting presentation gave tons of factual data in an easy
to understand format and clearly shows that man-made global warming is not

By God's grace, we had beautiful weather and
safety at our rally.

More about the Fair Tax!
Our second rally was about the Fair Tax. If you
follow the language of the establishment ruling class, they call for tax cuts,
tax rebates, tax exemptions, tax credits and so on. Hey you Kings and Queens in
DC! Its our money! We the People are paying the bills and you are spending too
much. The taking of our property (money) for non-essential unconstitutional
expenditures is theft. The more we succeed the more they steal.. It's the
"progressive" way.
Mike Huckabee had an excellent segment about this
very subject on Fox.

We don't need tweaking to the 65,000 plus page
monster, we need complete replacement and elimination of the IRS and several
other non-essential agencies, bureaus, czars and federal busybody do-nothings.
We're not denying the need for federal workers and departments that are indeed
constitutionally mandated, but those that are studying and regulating cow
flatulence are over the top.
Lets demand our representatives adopt this truly
fair and voluntary federal tax system!

Harry Reed's Dream Act:
There was recent failed attempt by Senate
Majority leader Harry Reed for a bill to allow citizenship to undocumented
(illegal) immigrant students in the US citizenship or amnesty. Our own Hoosier
Senator Richard Lugar was the only GOP member that sponsored this bill called
the Dream Act.
Mr. Lugar also supported almost all of Obama's appointed activist judges. He
voted for Sonia Sotamayor, David Hamilton, Elena Kagan and confirmed CZAR Cass
Sunstein. We need to remember this for Richard Lugar's next primary election.

Other News:
Even Barney Frank the "Banking Queen" of
Taxachusetts is in jeopardy thanks to a great conservative marine veteran
challenger! Mr. Frank has never had a real challenge before and with his leading
us into the mortgage crisis, he needs to go. I know here in Indiana we don't
have an opportunity to vote Barney out, but we have our own tyrants to dispose
of!
This is for sure, if likes of Barney Frank,
Barbara Boxer and their powerful contemporaries lose, it will be a monumental
landslide as these are considered "safe" seats.
Here in Stockton township, there is a need of a
couple folks to be poll workers. It pays a little and you will need to be
trained to help inside a polling area election day, Tuesday, November 2nd.

The Greene Tea Patriot sign crew has been very
busy fabricating signs and deploying them. These are the type that have a series
of short phrases and make up a jingle. They really stick in your head like a
catchy song, and the aim is that the jingle stays their until the the right vote
gets cast! The jingles are centered on the tyrannical issues that woke us all up
and we are attempting to wake those that still sleep. The awakening is under
way!

Beyond The Midterm Election:
There are ideas for a future combined Tea
Party statewide rally or convention of some sort. Virginia just had one and the
energy was fantastic and very successful. Indiana has many groups and are not
currently integrated and networked enough to be effective, especially in
propelling constitutional conservatives in our next primary elections. As was
done in Alaska, Delaware and Arizona. We must work within our 2 party system and
do some reforming from within. It can be done.
I have been reading a fascinating relative
history of the 1770 Tea Party, the sons and daughters of liberty vs. the Whigs
and Tories. There is much being repeated in our day. Indeed, the scripture
reminds us "...there is no new thing under the sun." Eccl 1:9
